What is the Feminine?
In the beginning there was the void, and in this pregnant space of nothingness (shunyata), everything began to appear, and the witness sat in wonder and awe at the beauty of everythingness.
Everything that you can see, feel, experience apart from the witness is feminine, even your mind is feminine - isn’t it always changing.
The pregnant void yearned and needed… it wanted to see itself and in a moment of seperation it became two.
Now to enjoy the play of two in understanding…. opposites were created - the masculine and the feminine.
And every single person is a unique mixture of these opposites - masculine and feminine. And we have spend our entire lives coming back to oneness with ourselves or with another.
The masculine in each of us - is the ‘witness’ our stillness. The part of you that has always been the same - if you like the thing that looks through your eyes but will never be able to see yourself.
The feminine in each of us - ‘is absolutely everything else’.
The feminine nurtures, gives life, and dances in sensual joy–although sometimes feminine energy is also wild, fierce, or chaotic. The feminine shines with radiance, or can appear dark and mysterious.
The feminine is the source and force of life altogether: the healing force of nature, the life-giving force of earth, as well as the force of destruction which re-absorbs that to which it has given birth.
They often say that the feminine has 1,000 names (and faces) and we will explores many of her faces in My Dangerous Beauty, and maybe make-up a few names ourselves. We need to be very mindful to feel the truth of an archetype for ourselves and to feel the bodily knowing of her rather than to absorb a mental construct of her. We need to be awake and aware when a new archetypal energy reveals herself in this place.
Archetypes are truly cellular knowings. Instinctual timely unfoldings of our essence.
If you are surrendered and receptive enough as a woman - archetypes ‘will do you’ and you wont know what’s happened in the moment, but the structure of air will have changed around you and anyone else who has received the pleasure of her company.
My Dangerous Beauty is a playground for the feminine, to reveal all of her luminescent colours.
